    Rick McDaniel, President

    Rick joined the Avamere Family of Companies in 2005. Rick is responsible for day-to-day operations and business strategies centered upon the growth and development of Merit Outpatient Therapy Clinics. Rick has 30 years of diverse leadership experience in the healthcare industry that includes acute care, long term care, imaging and laboratory diagnostics and therapy.

    Rick began his tenure as VP of Acquisitions and New Product Development for the Sante Group, Avamere’s development company. In 2008, he became President of Northwest Mobile Services and in 2011 assumed the position as President of Merit Rehab. Prior to this, Rick was President of an organization that developed and operated senior living communities located in 9 western states and Florida.

    Rick has served on the boards of Dominican Homes, Oregon Alzheimer’s Association and on numerous committees for the National Association of Portible X-ray Providers. He received his MBA degree from Portland City College and his BA degree from Winona State University.

    Clinic Managers

    Our Clinic Managers are experienced therapists who stay tuned into all aspects of running an outpatient clinic. They directly provide physical therapy services to patients, monitor staff treatment schedules, track and manage clinic’s financial performance and ensure regulatory compliance.


    Our reputation rests on the quality of our therapists’ skills and their ability to combine customer service with technical expertise. Merit Rehab’s highly skilled clinicians also provide direct physical therapy services to patients, including assessments; treatments, program planning and implementation, plus they handle documentation and communication with physicians.
